🧠 Inside KOTC’s Award-Winning Internship For College Students

This summer, eight driven college students from across the country joined forces with King of the Curve (KOTC) — an award-winning edtech startup featured in Forbes 30 Under 30 and winner of the St. Louis Inno Fire Award.

Over ten weeks, this team of interns proved that when passion meets innovation, real change happens. They launched impactful tools, pitched original campaigns, and expanded a platform that’s reshaping how students learn. Their work has paved the way for King of the Curve to make even greater strides in education technology.

The Internship Experience

From June 2 to August 8, 2025, King of the Curve hosted a remote, part-time internship for college students, offering hands-on experience inside a fast-growing startup. They were given opportunities like daily workshops and weekly strategy sessions to accelerate their growth.

Eight interns were divided into four specialized teams — development, design, marketing, and research. From building app features to expanding our reach, interns played a direct role in shaping the KOTC platform’s evolution from an MCAT-only app to a comprehensive academic tool.
