Because those two first-party materials are not perfectly aligned, this article does not add geometry as a separate current AAF domain; instead, it flags the discrepancy for readers and future editorial review.
Conceptually, AAF asks you to work more deeply with algebraic relationships and functions than QAS. If AAF is the test your institution assigned, review should center on the exact current AAF domains rather than assuming that “advanced” simply means doing harder versions of basic arithmetic.
The Differences Between Arithmetic, QAS, and AAF
A useful way to separate the three tests is by the kind of mathematical work each emphasizes:

Once you know the test you were assigned, build your review list from its official domains rather than from a generic “college math” checklist. A simple content-first method is to sort each domain into three buckets: comfortable, rusty, or unfamiliar. Then concentrate review time on the rusty and unfamiliar domains that actually belong to your assigned assessment.
For example, a student assigned Arithmetic should not automatically spend time on logarithms simply because logarithms are part of ACCUPLACER somewhere; they belong to AAF’s current domain list. Likewise, a student assigned QAS should not reduce preparation to fraction drills if the larger gaps are linear equations, proportional relationships, data interpretation, or geometry concepts.
